Author: lilwes Well the prevailing opinion of this set of photo's is that they are of the Kansas City Stock Yards. In photo #4 there is a large building in the background. If this rings a bell with anyone out there shout it out.

Wikipedia article has them at right over 9 miles of track in both Missouri and Kansas. I knew an engineer on the CNW in KC that worked as a fireman on a KCC job. He actually worked for the KC Terminal, they covered the firemen position, ATSF covered the engineer, the UP supplied the 3 switchmen, and no one talked to each other. KCRW287
