When I see the great posts of older shots in this
discussion,I Really feel DUMB.
Some of my favorite posters are,Road Job,GCM
Photo Bob,3rd switch,refarkas and especially
SanteFe 199.
And why do I feel dumb? Maybe I should say stupid?
I like some named, have traveled in every state except Maine.
have been railfanning since the early 60's.When I see their
posts I gringe.Because I "had" at one time over forty
thousand slides and sold them.(of course that was before
we had the net and scanning) and therefore cannot post
anything that would go along with what they are posting.
To add the "frosting to the cake",in latter years I only stamped
my slides with "Slide Show Collection",nothing else
I did find one place that has a few of my slides,if anyone
wants to look.Railpictures.Net.

I miss my slides.
