Nostalgia & History > SP's "cans" . . .Date: 08/28/19 21:48 SP's "cans" . . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . while looking for slides for the new book, came across this shot. I have took a similar shot of the same train between here and Mojave but didn't remember this one. The eastbound loaded "cans" on a beautiful afternoon at Ansel, CA back in APR '95 *changed*. What an awesome train this was to see and photograph.

Never had the pleasure of seeing the "cans" myself, although it was a favorite of my father's, as was the area - the lifelong New York resident visited Tehachapi yearly for at least 10 straight years in the 90's-early aughts.
