1. "Into the Sunshine" B&M 313 pops out of the north end of the Tunnel on the D&H at Tunnel, NY on July 15, 1983 about 2 weeks after B&M went into Guilford. 

2. D&H 408 waits for RW-6 with D&H 7617 leading at Afton, NY May 3, 1980

3. Montreal Monsters, CP 4554 leads MLW power east past the depot at Cookshire, Quebec hell for leather on October 18, 1986.

4. Guilford Train EBME with ex ROCK U25B #226 leading passes Otego, NY with Engineer Charlie Newton at the throttle on November 9, 1984.

5. Conrail BUOI at left with CR 6770 meets OIBU with CR 6705 at Binghamton, NY in May 1985 behind McDonalds at Chamberlain Creek. That is the SUNY Upstate Medical University buliding in the background. 

6. Metro North 2027 speeds north along the Hudson at New Hamburg, NY (I think) - correct if mis-identified as I never labelled it.. May 1990.

Agreed. But it just wouldn't be "right" to not give a nod, at least, to Photo 2 with the C420 and GP39-2 at Afton.

Great series! I like the big CP Alco's!

The northbound Metro North train is a few miles north of Peekskill in the Hudson Highlands. New Hamburg is about 25 miles ahead.
