Massillon Monday - CR 8146

CR 8146 and CR 6076 are eastbound in the superelevated curve at Massillon, Ohio in June 1981. The visible track to 8146's left is the ex-N&W line to Dalton, Ohio.
Take a close look at the bottom of the bridge. The longer parts of those notches look like plates to keep some of the steam and cinders from the bottom of the bridge.

Little engine in the lead; thats the way steam was usually doubleheaded on most roads.
