I used to live in Orland (Ca) back then so I was able to get a few good shots after they took over operations from SP in 1993.

       This type of railroading is what I grew up with so it has always been a favorite. 10 to 25 mph

       Looks like this is quite stable however as the units and cars are not rocking side to side.

SP upgraded some of the branch before the sale to handle the beet traffic.
