Somewhat crude MOP inspection vehicle

Ran across this photo at our Tyler Tex. Cotton Belt depot museum.

Was this a inspection vehicle, or maybe a superintendents car?

Any idea year & make of the body?

Look again. The hood side trim and separate headlight housing say 1936.

Most likely a officer car for inspections.

My car fan friend also confirma it is a 1936 Ford.

"Interesting photo, might be a 1935 or 36 Ford."

My folks had a 35 Ford sedan when I arrived at the end of 35! They kept it until the War started, Cold in the winter, hot and windy with the windows open in summer.
Was not used on rails!!
