MKT tribute at Bonham, Texas
Author: RedFusee

Bonham, located in the northeast secion of Texas, was served by two railroads. The Texas and Pacific had a line that ran from Texarkana to Denison and most of the out-of-service rails are still in place. Abandoned in 1928 was the Denison, Bonham and New Orleans Railroad, operated under control of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas. I found this caboose next to the Texas and Pacific station in Bonham.

I don't know Katy but that caboose looks like it it might have back during operating days, freshly painted of course.

The red looks far better than green.  And, it says,  KATY.

Nice catch.  Glad it was preserved, especially in red.
