Switcher Saturday, CPR RS23
Author: EL833

While my visits to Brockville, Ontario were mainly to see MLW powered Via and CN trains on the busy Toronto to Montreal mainline, the CP also paid a "back door" visit to the Brockville area. Some time between mainline trains allowed this view of CPR 8029, a MLW RS23, working the small yard in town. I believe this was a local out of Smith Falls...August 10th, 1983.

 Excellent shot.
On my few visits to Cananda, I was amazed at the number of MLW (Alco) engines there were running around.
