French Turboliner to Detroit

If I remember correctly this was in the Michigan City area on the old Michagan Central.

OldConrail RR Detroit based train crews worked to and from Chicago.  Niles, MI based engine crews worked to and from Chicago.

I believe the parallel track is the C&O.

You caught so much to see. You have not only the Turboliner but what looks to be a station on the left, the signals in the background, and the poor track conditions on the left. What a piece of history this is!

Google Streets confirms this is Michigan City but both tracks would be the old MC/NYC.  The signals are for the South Shore crossing at 10th Street.  The C&O is a few miles to the left.  To the immediate left now is the big Lighthouse Place outlet mall.

Much of the wiggles is from using a telephoto lens. Good old telephoto smash.
