I have some questions about the Southern Pacific Santa Fe merger, mostly revolving around the Rio Grade. I recall that the Rio Grande was to be given the former Central Pacific line between Ogden and Sacramento, and trackage rights to Portland and other places in California. What cities in California to be exact, and over what lines? The Rio Grande also used the former MoPac to Kansas City. Did the trackage rights go beyond to St. Louis? If so, when did they acquire them, along with the rights to Kansas City?

DRGW got the rights Pueblo, CO to KC with the MOP-UP merger 1982. SP got KC to St Louis with the same merger

Rio Grande was to also get the Modoc from Flanigan to K Falls.
