It looks like two railroads came through here. Behind the caboose are two regular crossing signals as if guarding another railroad. You made the right choice in photographing the wig-wag. Imagine how you would have felt if you got home and saw the wig-wag in the background of your photo.

I think that was the Santa Fe in the background.

Gary, thanks for posting this slide of a SP caboose and the SP style wig-wag. There was one of those at S. 15th St. on the outskirts of  Corsicana , TX alond with a pair of style B double semaphores prior to 1973 or so. --Kelly

There is also a train in the background.
