Nostalgia & History > Warbonnet Wednesday . . .Date: 02/05/20 05:36 Warbonnet Wednesday . . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . back in MAR '97, just another westbound was descending the original south main west of Summit, CA, on Cajon Pass. This is a solid train for MAERSK shipping destined the original facility in the port of Long Beach. If you look closely, a pair of SD40 helpers are visible in the distance above the lead cab. Todays view would be identical except of course Santa Fe is gone and the two lead units are either stored, scrapped or sold.

Thanks. Randy Lundgren Elgin, TX Date: 02/05/20 09:47 Re: Warbonnet Wednesday . . . Author: 3rdswitch I would imagine occasionally but not regularly any longer.
