.   .   .   back in JUN '02, the two forty models painted by BNSF and NS respectively especially for MAERSK shipping for the grand opening festivities of the new Pier 400 facility on Terminal Island in the Port of Los Angeles, were together on an impromptu special operated at the request of the MAERSK photographer shown at CP Badger where the bridge that connects the mainland and Terminal Island is located. The adjacent Commodore Heim bridge hosts vehicle traffic using the Terminal Island Fwy. Because of it's short length with only a few on and off ramps and easy closing, Fwy has been used in the filming of many movies including Terminator II, Mr and Mrs Smith and Get Smart.
