The Rock...by the numbers

40 - years ago today the Mighty Fine Line ceased to exist
 9  - years prior to the shutdown this was lensed in Tucumcari, NM - June 20, 1971
 5  - locomotives heading up train 2-#92
 4  - GP40's in the consist
 3  - paint schemes worn by the locos
 1  - U28B sandwiched by the EMD's

Thanks for looking back at a very colorful "Fallen Flag"!

Due out of Tucumcari about 11 a.m.  It looks like the train was on-time.
