Here's the 506 (4th out) on a Westbound Conrail baretable. Don't know where it was headed.

Rich - thanks for posting three great shots.  I was in that area in the same era but did not do nearly as well.  Is photo #1 at Taylor Yard?  Also, I'm guessing photo #2 is from West Lackawanna Ave, and tracks to the left go to Tower 60 and the DL&W station, is that correct?  Thanks.  

Photo one is Luzerne St a little north of Taylor. Photo 2 is from LackawannaSt. and yes Bridge 60 tower is to the left.
