Alcos, EMD, GE you name it they were in the dead line in Conrail's Cleveland Collinwood Yard dead line in the late 70's and early 80's.

The Dead Line photos reflect the reality CR faced iis  first few years.

Can anyone supply the history of the two SD9's in the last photo?  Obviously ex-Penn Central, but who before that?  I would guess Pennsy but really don't know.  TIA for a reply.

The SD-9's were ex Pennsylvania  and were numbered 7600-7624. This information was found at web site thedieselshop.us, home of the first and second generation locomotives and motive power rosters.
