Nostalgia & History > Oakway WednesdayDate: 04/08/20 21:53 Oakway Wednesday Author: jgilmore OK, it's a bit of a stretch but, hey, nothin' wrong with lookin' at some standard-cab units. In a sign of things to come, I stumbled across this loaded SB coal train on the Boise City Sub in 1993 led by an OWY SD60. Don't know why or if BN already had an arrangement to run some trains on the lightly-used Santa Fe, but I was happy to find anything along this line when I was passing through. Anyone know if these units survived into BNSF or when they left BN? JG
1) Somewhere south of Boise City? 2) Crossing the Canadian River. 3) Rolling through Stratford and about the cross the SP GSR. Date: 04/09/20 04:47 Re: Oakway Wednesday Author: overniteman Nice shots! Always liked the Oakway paint job.
