Nice shot.  Too bad there's not one after the engine got replainted to the red and white.  It was the only unit on the railroad that had the SOO LINE completely spelled out.  Looked really cool.

The 397 gives  whole new meaning to billboard lettering.  I believe it is larger than what was "normal" Soo Line diesels?  Of course, "normal" diesels didn't have "LINE" on them.

Wish he would have got a shot of the DSS&A coach behind the unit and a couple of the arch bar equipped ore cars in the back ground. I can't imagine any class one railroad in the US using arch bar trucks in main line service longer that the South Shore.
