Nostalgia & History > Thirty Thursday: KCSDate: 04/09/20 20:41 Thirty Thursday: KCS Author: jgilmore There's a GP30 buried in this KCS consist at Tower 19, reversing back to Santa Fe's Dallas Yard in 1987 after cutting off it's run-through train. They will couple onto the next EB run-through from the SF and pull the train back to Shreveport. For many years there were 1-2 manifests exchanged each way daily with the Santa Fe, numbered 53-56 IIRC, almost always run with sets of older 4-axle power. JG

Date: 04/10/20 08:54 Re: Thirty Thursday: KCS Author: eljay Hard to be sure, but I believe the other 3 units are SD50s, which didn't have the traditional EMD dynamic "blisters."
