Nostalgia & History > F unit Friday...SP Black Widow versionDate: 05/22/20 10:32 F unit Friday...SP Black Widow version Author: masterphots SP 6470E approaches N. Main St, Los Angeles on 6/25/62. Ken Douglas original, my collection. A couple of months earlier Dodger Stadium opened at the top of the hill, out of the photo to the left. For you baseball fans, they lost their first game there to the Reds 6-3. Reds center fielder Wally Post hit the first home in the new stadium. I still have my scorecard from the game.

Lots of power for the loads tomorrow. Charlie Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/22/20 19:23 by cewherry. Date: 05/22/20 20:02 Re: F unit Friday...SP Black Widow version Author: railstiesballast I suspect that beet train is also moving power out of the diesel shops to City of Industry or Colton.
Date: 05/23/20 13:59 Re: F unit Friday...SP Black Widow version Author: agentatascadero Maybe someone could help orient me on this one.......to me, it appeared the train was a westbound, compass north, but I must be all turned around if this train is headed to Colton.
Power move sounds about right for 8 units on a train of empties. AA Stanford White Carmel Valley, CA Date: 05/23/20 15:39 Re: F unit Friday...SP Black Widow version Author: cewherry agentatascadero Wrote:
