I was sent an email over night telling me of the passing of John Behrens.
Some of you have been conversing with him over his photograph collection and had been very helpful.
We met at a recent UPHS convention in Omaha and he showed a great willingness to share his knowledge 
and experience about his work at Cargill and UP, and years of photographing trains all over the USA.
Which is great for me coming from Australia.
John and I spent many days looking at and discussing lots of subjects from planes to trains and then studying
many a fine beer or two. He would keep notes on each and every beer he had, quiet the connoisseur.
Will have a beer in his memory today.
