Interesting side-by-side capture of the ex-GN SD9s with and without dynamic brakes, Jonathan.

6125 was one of two GN SD9's with dynamic brakes.  The bells in my head are ringing that it was sent to Skykomish for preservation, but the twon fathers decided against that.  I'm probably wrong about the unit number.

"GN 1731," ex-BNSF/BN 6126, nee-GN 599 went to Skykomish.  Haven't heard much about it lately.  The GoFundMe site is still up, having raised $8,200 of their $40,000 goal since November 2019.

"GN 1730," ex-BNSF/BN 6125, nee-GN 598 was is storage at Interbay in Seattle, WA as late as 2019, though with BNSF's recent "house cleaning," that may have changed.
