Nostalgia & History > E.K. Muller: Washing UP steamDate: 06/26/20 00:11 E.K. Muller: Washing UP steam Author: Evan_Werkema In the recent "Coal for a 4-12-2!" thread, agentatascadero said he could "remember the filth of UP steam power late in the game" and wondered if, "before the FT led diesel revolution, UP steam got a wash every now and then." Here's the proof that UP steam got an occasional wash and brush even well into the diesel era. E.K. Muller recorded these scenes during a visit to Cheyenne, WY on June 28, 1955. Photos courtesy the Western Railway Museum Archives.

Muller: Washing UP steam Author: agentatascadero Evan, Thanks for your contribution here....even if it does show clean UP steam power "late in the game". Just wondering, if, in order to "balance the account", if you have some UP steam filth to show us?
