Nostalgia & History > Some ICG and a request for location help

I can date these photos to about 1978, more or less. Location for the train shots is probably between Richton and Monee IL on the ICG. What I need help with is where were the photos of the steam and depots taken. I know it was in the same general area or perhaps a little further south towards Peotone. I grew up in Park Forest so this was only short distance from home. 

Someone had collected several old small steam engines along with the depot from Beecher (C&EI a short distance east) and Vergennes (IC from down south near Murphysboro) and a couple cars. There was no one around when we were there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
