Nostalgia & History > Fifty Or More Years - PC 7335Date: 07/29/20 09:29 Fifty Or More Years - PC 7335 Author: refarkas It is the Friday after Thanksgiving Day (November 29, 1968) in Toledo, Ohio where John Woodworth, Mike Ondecker, and I found Penn Central 7335 (EMD GP9) and Penn Central 1633 (EMD F3A). PC 1633 is still in full NYC paint.

#7335 was an early full PC repaint. #1633 was a pretty much untouched NYC. Really nice catching them together. Thanks for the excellent photo posting. ALLEN Date: 07/29/20 11:31 Re: Fifty Or More Years - PC 7335 Author: gcm Enjoy images of NYC engines.
Nice one. Gary Date: 07/29/20 13:53 Re: Fifty Or More Years - PC 7335 Author: bobdavis Another classic case of why you shouldn't automatically put the camera away on a cloudy day! I'm pretty sure that the 1633 was one of the last active PC F3's. I shot the same engine about two months earlier at Warners, NY, west of Syracuse, leading a long (167 cars) westbound drag freight - photo attached.

First-rate action photo. She certainly looks just right on the point of that freight. Bob |
