Speaking of C420'S
Author: WrongMain

1. Detroit & Mackinac 976 at Bay City, MI October, 1990

2.  L&N 1362 Hammond, IN August, 1978

3.  Green Bay & Western 323  Green Bay  October, 1982  A little surprised that this was the only C420 on the GB&W's all-Alco roster.

Nice C420 photos.  Detroit & Mackinac 976 was originally high nose Long Island Rail Road C420 #208.   L&N 1362 was built for the Seaboard Air Line then to SCL then to L&N.    Green Bay & Western 323 was built as Lehigh and Hudson River number 27 then Conrail 2075 before going to GBW.  I believe this unit is still around in Michigan wearing it's old Iowa Interstate number 850 with GLLX reporting marks.  Any further info on this unit is welcome.
