EL C907, and ex DL&W caboose, at Ridgewood Jct, NJ (with WJ tower seen just ahead of the locomotives), March of 1974.  Wish I had shot the entire caboose but thought this interesting enough to post.

This is a nice photo.  If you had waited for the end of the caboose, the tower and signals on the right would not be in your photo; you did good.

Was that one of the cabooses that was homemade from steam engine tenders?

Yes C907 was constructed on a tender frame at DL&W's Keyser Valley shops.

Up until 2012 or so, C907 was part of the Casey Jones restaurant at Long Branch NJ. The restaurant buiding was demolished in 2018? Don't know what happened to the caboose after the restaurant closed, though.

Looks like it could be the Ordinary.  It would leave croxton and go up the main Line , doing pickups and  setouts along the way up to Port Jervis.
