I received a stack of SP Timetables from the daughter of the late John Edwards (TO Steamjocky). i'll be posting some as I scan them.

Looking at some of the names of the officers shown I'm struck at the longevity
of at least one; L. J. Franklin-Road Foreman of Engines at Bakersfield.
Levi Franklin's name can be found as RFE at Bakersfield at least as far back as 1943 and
was still at it as late as April 1965. Surely, that must be some record, at least on the SP.

I wonder how his durability would compare with those operating officers of today.
