Randros 14: Only Chinese red switcher in Burlington system?

That's what I have noted fot it ... FW&D NW2 #605 @ Amarillo on Sept. 30, 1972 by Bruce Barrett.

I believe that you're correct.  I'm pretty sure that that's the only switcher in red.

That's my recollection as well from some article or another in the past that made the statement -- along with a black-and-white photo of the engine (!). Now I've seen the real item -- in full Chinese Red. And it looks really good, too. As becoming as on a GP30, always one of my favorite paint schemes. Another fine one, valmont -- thanks!
