That's nice. My cousin in South Bend knew one of the operators and I was able to go up with him a few times on visits. What a great place to visit back then. Spent lots of time at Arnold Street. Nice look back.

Great to see the tower again.  Prior to Conrail, it was known as "HF" Tower on the NYC and PC.
The pistol-grip interlocking machine was massive; I don't recall how many handles but I recall quite a few.
I took some photos inside around 1973 and will post some when I get a scanner.
The building at right was once the Studebaker factory and I believe is now their museum.
