More images of the every man unit, doing it all.

Looks like a run on Geeps today. Swamped by an abundance of the general purpose marvels, we'll just do without a lot of verbage, and show these work horses doing what they did best. Everything!

top...appropriated B&O power being used on Western Maryland. Mixed bag of Geeps shoving eastbound up Williamsport Hill into Hagerstown. 1971

middle...little bit later, 1976 to be exact. The colors had changed, and so did the railroad. Eastbound helpers at Williamsport.

bottom...further west, a westbound heading for Sand Patch at Mount Savage Jct. Md. 1976

top...Working an industry in east Baltimore, just west of Bay View yard. 1969

middle...one of a kind for B&O. GP18 leads eastbound into Mount Clare A yard Baltimore, 1968

bottom...a few miles west of Martinsburg WVa. westound empties, 1972

Definitely like them all.  My favorite is the local at Hanover in 1977.

Like the empty Grainer at Mt. Savage. I'm sure they picked up a Helper at Hyndman.
