I used to walk down the access road for this shot between the tunnels east of James, California.

Wow! Great shot! That brings back many memories of the APL Stack Trains we operated on the Union Pacific via the Feather River Canyon.  A three way deal, between UP, APL and the Port of Oakland modified the tunnels so these trains could operate via the Canyon.
