Riding in style in the shadow of Mt Shasta
Author: photobob

Back when riding a PV on the open platform wasn't against the rules..Here's John Kirkwoods "Yerba Buena" bringing up the rear of the Coast Starlight near Mt Shasta City.  The lucky riders that day were Dave Maffei, his wife, the infamous John Signor  and Mr Kirkwood. I was fortunate enough to have ridden his car a few times, a big thank you Mr Kirkwood.. The train arrived just as the sun was rising behind the mountain on a beautiful morning in August 2014.,
