BN SD40-2 6841 at Memphis 10 July 1982  by M. Condren. Did this unit make it into BNSF paint or was it sold to HLCX or FURX in BN green? You can almost make out the old Frisco number on the cab side. This was the Frisco 951?

Hopefully it’s still around somewhere, I remember seeing a cab-frame from a BN/SLSF 6840 series heading to the scrapyard in Madison IL a few years back.

I remember switching in Denver with one and the Frisco was coming through the green paint.

According to the BNSF 2003 Review by Robert Del Grosso, BNSF 6841 was BN 6841 and before that was SLSF 951.
And is not listed in the current 2019-2020 Locomotive Directory by Wester & Winters.

This unit went to Helm in BN green and black.
