Frisco Friday & Station Stop Saturday : a combination
Author: PVSfan

Very rare to find a photograph of a train anywhere along the Ft. Worth & Rio Grande (a Frisco property since
about 1901) much less one in Stephenville TX.
That line was acquired later by the Santa Fe in 1937.
I believe that depot was also used by the Stephenville North & South Texas (leased to the Cotton Belt).

In ALL the years I've been on Trainorders, THIS photo has to be the most meaningful. I was born and raised in Stephenville in 1958!!!

I'll add this postcard image of the same depot.

I also add a passenger schedule for that line from 1911.
It's in the lower right of the page.

Don't leave out the Orient and Ft Worth & Western (although not owned by them).
