Westbound Wednesday, Alco On Altamont

SP RS32 crossing Altamont Pass between Livermore and Tracy, California. 
!967. My memory tells me this was a westbound train, but with the loaded cars, perhaps eastbound from
East Pleasanton cement plant.

Yeah, first guess is it's approaching the road overpass
west of Altamont, but you'd think US 50 would be visible
somewhere, if the camera's looking south.
