Baggage, express and some mail is ready for the soon to arrive San Francisco Zephyr from Chicago at Denver Union Station.

After arrival the pair of SDP40F units are changed out.
Steam from the units just arrived can be seen over the platforms and are headed to the shops for servicing.
The fresh pair of engines is being added at the other end.
Some baggage and express is being loaded to the right and I guess the other baggage wagons will be moved up and transferred shortly.

Nice series about the run around in Denver

No, never saw the E units.

Old UP RR Denver CO based passenger train and engine crews worked to and from Cheyenne, WY.
