At the end of it's original WP lease, the UP returned it to owner Helm without it ever seeing any UP yellow. They sent it to the Chicago, Missouri and Western which then turned into the Gateway Western. After that stint it ended up as a Cotton Belt unit, and then through the UP take over of the SP it ended up back on the UP again where it is now UP 1494. On top of that the UP completely rebuilt it in 2019 and it stands to be on the UP for a long time to come. As for other units pictured, they have been gone from the UP for a long time.
