Edit: After looking at old aerial photos of Truckee, I think it's a spur into a lumberyard/mill, and not a remnant of the Tahoe Branch. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/16/21 21:08 by stanhunter. I think I have a rough idea where you shot this from and feel inspired to see what this scene looks like today. I suspect that there are more trees that would mar the view toward the signal bridge and town. Thanks for sharing it...always a joy.

Roseville, CA based engine crews worked to and from Sparks. At the time the above shot was taken in early 1960's.
