Headed west and crossing the Southern Division of the Santa Fe.
This is 50 miles west of Houston.

Very nice action photo.  Adding interest, first two units have slightly different "John Deere" schemes.

Why are the Santa Fe tracks spread out like that? Are these both main tracks?

Santa Fe main on the left and a passing siding right.
There was a yard behind me that was mainly ATSF.
