1. WP 2-8-2 #334, a 1929 product of American Locomotive Works is seen at the Oakland, California roundhouse off of Middle Harbor Road on December 11, 1959. The locomotive made her last
    revenue run in October 1952 but was reactivated for some excursions in March 1956. In January 1967 she was towed to the now Western Railway Museum at Rio Vista Junction, Calif., where
    she remains today.

2. WP RDC-2 #376 between runs at the Oakland roundhouse on December 12, 1959. She and sister #376 ran tri-weekly local Zephyrette service between Salt Lake City and Oakland from 
    September 15, 1950 to October 2, 1960 as a secondary supplement to the California Zephyr. At 924 miles it was the longest RDC service in the US.

3. WP S-2 #560 in Oakland, October 11, 1959 heading for another switching assignment

Awesome!  Interesting detail on the 560 with the "Feather River Route" slogan of the original black paint scheme coming through the silver.

Remember 334 in Rio Vista, always thought it was a brute of an engine. Seemed so big compared to all the trolleys there.
