Meet Monday . . .

.   .   .   in AUG '76, an eastbound IHB job was meeting a westbound C&O job at awesome Blue Island, IL. The two tracks in the foreground belong to B&OCT while the other two belong to IHB with GTW crossing in the distance before the bridges. A great junction to this day.

COULD simply be a B&O C&O transfer?

And off on the far left was the transfer track from the Rock Island down to these railroads. 
One time I was on an eastbound Reefer train and we delivered it "down in the hole" to the GTW.

Good shot, JB, really liked it.  Unfortunately this angle has become off limits these days.  I was aable to get something once, but not any more.  Thanks for posting.
