Southern Railway (SOU) GP30 2547 leading SP U25B 6736 and SOU GP35 2655 on the Cotton Belt in Pine Bluff, AR. Likely 1974.SOU 2547 is a GP30. Reportedly SOU 2547 was built by the EMD as GP30 SOU 2547 in 1962, serial number 27335. It was later rebuilt into GP39E BN 2769 becoming BNSF 2759.--Photo by my brother Lloyd E. Sloan.
