My Last LV Photo 45Years Ago

Forty Five years ago tonight the last night of the Lehigh Valley and this was the last LV photo I took on March 31, 1976 Sayre, PA.

We've all heard about "The wreck of the Penn Central" - perhaps this is the "wrecker" of the Lehigh Valley.  Beautiful shot.

Very interesting! I have a photo of this LV hook taken in February 1970 in Owego on the EL (assisting in righting an EL hook that rolled over on a super-elevated curve) and 96550 was painted black. I didn't realize that LV had painted it red between then and C-Day.
