Wow, Wow, Wow, thank you for the classic PRR shots. I was 11 when these were taken and I remember making many trips with my dad to several PRR locations in this area as he was a traffic manager and he made monthly trips to see the freight agents. I also got free rides often in both engines and in cabin cars. Thanks for the memory trip back in time.

SLRX was the refrigerator car operation of the Manufacturer's Railway in St. Louis, both being owned by Anheuser-Busch.  Even into the early 1980's at St.Louis Railway Club functions we'd get people attending who were specifically from St. Louis Refrigerator Car as well as Manufacturers employees.  They were one (relatively speaking) big fraternity.
