Date: 04/20/21 06:59 Re: Forty Or More Years Old - PC 6314 Author: inrdjlg Great shot! Besides the big Alco's, note the non-interlocked railroad crossing, with target and block signals still mounted on the truss bridge. (They were later moved to a separate bracket mast, if I'm not mistaken, after a wreck damaged the bridge.) I also wasn't aware of the city street on the left - it looks almost like a painted-on (or photo-shopped) mural.

Great subject matter of course but from the old passenger platform the discarded diamonds the bridge the telegraph lines just sooo much to look at. thanks for posting!

There is so much to look at. What a great railroad photo! Rick Z Date: 04/20/21 13:19 Re: Forty Or More Years Old - PC 6314 Author: Conch 1972 and the PC is coming unwound. No name on the hood and soon the worms on the nose will be omitted. But as CNW8531 said I bet they sounded fine. Thanks for all the sharing you do.
