Fogg's mount note was Tr 106, date was 8/6/65 ... one of those long yellow ribbons!

Sure enough, 104 was later in the day. 106 still skipped Cheyenne in 1965

I like that shot!  That's how a passenger train should look.  That Milwaukee emblem on the nose is cool, too!

This was a few years before that time - would be the combined Challenger and Cities of LA and SF.

Old UP RR Cheyenne, Wyo and North Platte, NE based passenger train crews worked between Cheyenne and North Platte.  Cheyenne engine crews worked to and from Sidney. NE.
