Unsure of the location but perhaps near Calente.

IF that's a semi trailer in the distance, COULD BE Cable?

Sure looks like the former WP at Hearst siding.

I think that's a westbound with WP gypsum hoppers behind the UP power.

If anybody can read the lettering on the Signal Bungalow, we will have the answer.
I kind of like lt to be Hearst, also.               --Jim Baker

I agree - Hearst siding, Pleasanton, CA. The signal bungalow appears turquoise, which is ex WP. This is a very popular NorCal spot in the Bay Area.

Could be Hearst on the former WP route after the SP line was abandoned in 1984. Negative was with a series from Techachapi which confused me.
Thanks, Jim Evans

That's Hearst siding, for sure.  Around that curve, the tracks cross a bridge.  Interstate 680 in the background.  WP color shed.  Been to this very spot many times.
