I caught this Sperry Rail Service car #143 on an overcast 2-29-76 parked on the business car spur in front of the old UP East LA Depot. I was comparing this car with the one involved in the unfortunate collision on the NS that is the IOTD today. Doing a quick search, supposedly this car was built new for Sperry in 1974, but seems much older. Any additional info on it, thanks in advance.
